Brand Purpose, Vision + Mission
Making childcare accessible and simple for all
Art & Bali was established on a foundation of connection, community, and global visibility of Indonesian art. Our core purpose is to serve as the premier gateway for contemporary art from the Global South, specifically showcasing the dynamism of Southeast Asian and Indonesian creativity to the world, utilizing Bali as a unique international hub.

Art & Bali is dedicated to fostering Bali’s vibrant art community, bringing together established masters, emerging artists, galleries, collectors, and patrons in a spirit of collaboration and growth. Crucially, the fair is committed to bridging the divide between technology and creativity, ensuring new media art finds its essential place and market within the global art world.

The mission is to make the art world inclusive and accessible, going against the stereotype that art is exclusive to a certain demographic. By actively connecting local communities with global artistic experiences, we strive to foster impactful engagements for diverse audiences.

Problem Statement + Research
Key Struggles and Frustrations Nannies in London Face

Racial stereotypes against nannies in the UK. The owners are from a high-crime part of London and there is a saying that no one makes it out of there successful

Mistreatment while getting little to no benefits or pay. Most nanny agencies don’t put the care of nannies first and often put profit over their wellbeing

Nannies are often portrayed as a service for the wealthy, when in the current climate, most working class families require a helping hand
Brand Positioning
A gender-neutral service that isn't necessarily for the wealthy
Amidst Indonesia's competitive art fair landscape—including ArtJakarta, ArtJog, and ArtMoments—Art & Bali stands apart by championing a blend of traditional and new media Indonesian art, which includes a conversation regarding AI. The fair is uniquely situated within Nuanu Creative City, a dynamic artistic and cultural destination that fosters creativity through existing initiatives like the Art Residency, Artists Open Call, and Culture Village (a workshop dedicated to learning and engaging in local craftsmanship).
These programs already feature collaborative, thought-provoking artworks and installations with international and local artisans of various media. Capitalizing on Bali's global appeal (with over 6.3 million tourists in 2024), Art & Bali will use a digital-first approach to reach a global audience and create awareness about the fair. This strategy is designed to reinforce Bali as a creative and innovation hub and ensure sustainable, long-term value for the local creative community.
